Just wanted to announce that we've uploaded most of our DVD titles on our HyperHip Media Online site. We now offer all the Denis Chang, Stochelo Rosenberg, Tim Kliphuis titles as downloadable files to use on your computer.
Many of the lessons now have French subtitles as well!

I'm happy to announce the introduction of HyperHip Media Online. This new service will allow you to download all of our video titles online! These downloads contain all the great content from our DVDs in an environmentally friendly fashion! You will also save shipping costs and duplication costs.
We have currently uploaded five of our video titles. We will have the remaining five titles online shortly. So now you can get started learning, online, immediately!
All the current titles are English only. We will be uploading French versions soon.
This service is completely secure. The service provider specializes in high-speed, high-volume video downloads.
Sample movies are available once you download the software.

It's called the Grappelli/Django Camp Netherlands
Location: Oostvoorne, near Rotterdam
Dates: 20-22 August 2010

Outline: This weekend focuses on teaching the style of Stephane Grappelli and Django Reinhardt, to violinists and guitarists. World class players/teachers in the style Tim Kliphuis (violin) and Reinier Voet (guitar) run the course which mixes workshops (up to 4 a day), an evening concert, guided and free jam sessions, camping and friendship at an idyllic location near the sea.
This is the first year of Tim's Grappelli/Django Camp Netherlands. If you're interested in learning Grappelli-style violin this camp would be the place to do it!
Reserve early for next year!

The producer, Denis Chang and I, are very happy with the DVDs and hope that many of you will use them to further your Gypsy Jazz education. On a personal note I feel that the combination of Denis' teaching format, coupled with Stochelo's formidable chops and overall musicality should keep you busy for a long, long time.

Django in June 2009 was a big success. Once again Andrew Lawrence pulled off a great event with patience and style! Attendance was high and the concerts were SRO.
Concert highlight for me was Gonzalo Bergara Quartet. Check the youtube clips.
